'Wichcraft Is Out of Bryant Park for Good; Dallas BBQ Shutters Its Original Location

Plus, a few more closings around town.

Bryant Park: Longtime park resident ‘wichcraft served its final sandwich yesterday and pulled out of the park entirely. There's no word yet on who might fill those prime kiosks, but stay tuned. The extraction also includes Southwest Porch, which will likely re-open with a new operator.

Upper West Side: After 30 years on 72nd Street, the original location of Dallas BBQ served its last plate of ribs on New Year's Eve, reports the Times. There are about a dozen other locations around the city, for anyone looking for some Dallas's ‘cue.

Alphabet City: After two and a half years, Spanish sandwich shop Bikinis closed its doors, says EV Grieve. An application for expansion was turned down by CB3 last March, and apparently, the restaurant wasn't a stellar neighbor.

Park Slope: Mediterranean fish restaurant Fish and Sip closed in late December, and according to Here's Park Slope, the owners will reopen it as a Mexican restaurant called Don Chignon. Park Slope Stoop created this handy map of all of the openings and closings in the neighborhood this past year.
