Vikas Khanna, chef of Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Junoon and two-time winner of Eater's Hottest Chef competition, may be the subject of an upcoming Hollywood biopic. The chef tells the American Bazaar that he's already been approached by a studio, though he won't say which. What will the story be? "The story will be my life, how I made it work in the west and then came to home ground to promote the MasterChef franchise." Other dramatic key points include the fact that he couldn't run until he was 13, because he was born with misaligned legs and feet, "falling in love with cooking in his grandmother's kitchen," and not only being named Eater's hottest chef but also one of People magazine's sexiest men alive.
No word yet on when this film might make its big premiere, but producers are allegedly already scouting locations in Khanna's home town.
