Mustachioed Hipster Commits Grand Larceny at Anella in Brooklyn

New Year's day wasn't so great for one diner.

New Year's Day is tough for almost everyone, but it was particularly rough for one diner at Greenpoint's restaurant Anella. A mustachioed hipster reportedly swiped an A.P.C. jacket off the back of a diner's chair and with it some Oliver Peoples sunglasses and the man's wallet. The man in question "was just like a regular well-dressed man, he looked... hip....He didn't look skeevy or weird or awkward, he looked like a regular Greenpoint kind of person," Anella's manager told DNAinfo. Shortly after the act, the robber swiped a credit card from the wallet at a nearby C-Town, a bad choice on many levels.

If you have any information pertaining to the crime, or recognize this man, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or go to their website.
