After a pipe burst in the building that houses Birds and Bubbles on Thursday night, the restaurant has gone through a lot of changes. According to chef Sarah Simmons: "What was estimated to be a two week job turned into what feels like a 48 hour episode of Restaurant Impossible. Luckily, her team kicked it into high gear. The heat and water were turned back on and the restaurant's been fixed up with "a new ceiling, new floors, four new pipes, newly insulated pipes, a new hvac compressor, two shiny heating units, a disinfected and freshly restocked bar, a new ice machine," an impressive feat to accomplish during a two day closure. Simmons encourages patrons to come by the restaurant for dinner tonight.
