Mission Chinese Gets the Go-Ahead from CB3

Mission Chinese Food was unanimously approved by Community Board 3 last night and, according Bowery Boogie, at least one board member is "stoked" that the restaurant is coming to the neighborhood. In the days since Eater (and the world) learned that Danny Bowien is taking over the Rosette space, scant details about the restaurant's triumphant return have trickled out. All that's known for now is that the space holds 74, plus a private dining room. And the Lo-Down hears a rumor that the restaurant might start taking reservations this time around — though perhaps that's just wishful thinking.
