Iconic gay bar and drag show club Boots & Saddle is struggling to find a new home in the West Village. The bar, which is being pushed out of its 40-year home on Christopher Street by rising rent, has already been turned away from two locations and is now struggling with a third. Fliers given out last week near the latest potential site on 7th Avenue South and Morton Street slammed the bar for: "potential noise, crime and pedestrian and vehicular traffic," reports the Post. Co-owner Robert Ziegler promises that the bar would function more like a restaurant with a drag show in its new home, but that doesn't seem to be helping. "I think people are just scared of the unknown," he tells the Post.
