Il Buco Celebrates 20 Years; Final Meat Hook Brunch

BOWERY — Il Buco will celebrate its 20th birthday with a series of dinners cooked by alum chefs like Jody Williams, Sara Jenkins, and Ignacio Mattos from September 15 to 21. On the 21st, the restaurant will also host a Sagra del Maiale, a festival of the pig. Tickets to the festival cost $25 without a beverage and $32 with one. [Eaterwire]

BRUNCHWIRE — The Meat Hook will host its very last brunch at Brooklyn Grange Navy Yard Farm on September 21. Tickets go for $90 and include booze. The menu is secret and is being crafted by the Meat Hook's three lady butchers. [Eaterwire]

EAST VILLAGE — Narcissa started regular lunch service today. On the menu is a kale salad with bacon lardons; grilled baby squid with marinated eggplant, shishito peppers, and chimichurri; and roasted whole branzino. [Eaterwire]
