starbucks-logo.pngStarbucks is planning to test out express cafes in New York starting next year. The smaller-than-usual locations will sell a limited menu of drinks and food, and are meant to appeal to the faster pace of city folk. The company also plans to open 100 larger stores over the next five years that will showcase coffee roasting, but no word on whether one will come to New York. [Crain's NY]
