dfrench.jpgMost of the big restaurants opening this fall appear to be in Manhattan, and Grub Street offers some reasons why. From the more obvious column there's the rising rent in Brooklyn. More interestingly, a number of the big openings like Dirty French are in boutique hotels on the island, and more owners and chefs are considering previously unsought after neighborhoods like Hell's Kitchen, where Brooklyn Fare will settle.
