FLATIRON — élan is starting lunch service this Thursday. David Waltuck will serve his seafood sausage in a bun with sauerkraut butter, plus kung pao fried chicken salad with soba noodles, and a spiced lamb burger with chickpea fries. [EaterWire]

CROWN HEIGHTS — Berg'n will debut its brunch this weekend (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) with specials from its vendors like a carbonara pizza or a truffled egg pie from Pizza Moto.
