élan Debuts Lunch with Kung Pao Chicken Salad; Berg'n Launches Brunch This Weekend

FLATIRON — élan is starting lunch service this Thursday. David Waltuck will serve his seafood sausage in a bun with sauerkraut butter, plus kung pao fried chicken salad with soba noodles, and a spiced lamb burger with chickpea fries. [EaterWire]

CROWN HEIGHTS — Berg'n will debut its brunch this weekend (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) with specials from its vendors like a carbonara pizza or a truffled egg pie from Pizza Moto. There is also egg, cheese, and kimchee toast at Asia Dog, and a breakfast ramen burger at Ramen Burger. The bar will serve bloody mary's and Aperol spritzers. [EaterWire]

NOMAD — The Nomad will host its annual Halloween masquerade ball on October 31 to benefit City Harvest. Masks are required, as is black tie attire. Tickets are on sale for $250. [EaterWire]
