Colombian-Style Hot Dog Purveyor Los Perros Locos Has Closed on the Lower East Side

The purveyor of Colombian style hot dogs promises to take the operation mobile.

Los Perros Locos, the twenty month old Colombian style hot dog vendor, has shuttered its brick and mortar location on Allen Street. Los Perros went out with a howl, throwing a closing party earlier this month. A posting on the restaurants Facebook page hinted that menus will be going mobile and offering catering as Los Perros Locos ¡MÓVIL! A tipster noted that the restaurant's former home at 201 Allen Street is currently under construction. According to another Facebook post it is being transformed into LESpace, described as a "flex-space/pop-up launchpad," whatever that means.
