Dirty Dirty French

New, 1 comment

new main for dirty french.jpgDirty French doesn't officially open until tomorrow but some details are starting to trickle out. The menu is French, but the influences from places the French colonized (particularly in Northern Africa) are abundant, in dishes like a cumin-heavy lamb carpaccio served with pita. A crispy half chicken topped with chilies, served in a cast iron skillet with crepes on the side, was a standout for many during a preview dinner. Also, the place has something of an 80's vibe, helped by a decade-appropriate soundtrack. [Eaterwire]
