Tuffet's Cider Month Menu; White Truffles at Sushi Nakazawa

WILLIAMSBURG — Tuffet is hosting a month-long cider celebration in October called "Brooklyn, We Go Hard Cider." The bar will feature five ciders by the glass, and another three by the bottle. Plus, several flights with food pairings. [EaterWire]

WEST VILLAGE — Sushi Nakazawa is getting in on the white truffle season. The chef will add truffles to select dishes in his omakase services including in his uni and toro courses. A supplement will be added to the price for the truffles. [EaterWire]

WEST VILLAGE — Before Grand Banks sails up the Hudson for winter, the bar will offer several specials for its last month in New York Harbor. Starting Wednesday there will be a $1 oyster happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. A cod chowder will also be added to the menu, as will a hot toddy. [GS]
