Potlikker, the two-year-old American restaurant on Bedford Avenue between South 3rd and South 2nd, is now closed. Gothamist reports that the phone line has been disconnected, and that the nearby Khao Sarn has announced plans to relocate to the space. Owner Liza Queen earned a following with her first restaurant, the now-closed Queens Hideaway, and some buzz surrounded her relocation to the former home of Andrew Tarlow and Mark Firth's departed Mexican restaurant, Bonita. Potlikker also had its fans, but not everyone loved the prices. No word on the exact reason for the restaurant's closure.
