On October 7 Roberta's is hosting an all-star blowout for chef David Kinch, whose California restaurant was severely damaged by a fire this past summer. The party is going down in Roberta's garden, and will feature Del Posto's pastry expert and veggie burger champ Brooks Headley along with his colleague Mark Ladner (currently touring his gluten-free pasta pop-up), as well as Blanca/Roberta's chef Carlo Mirarchi. Danny Bowien apparently has DJ duties. Tickets are $130, and don't seem to include a sit-down meal, but do include food, drinks, and a chance to "mingle with the chefs."
