In its efforts to make the Falchi Building in Long Island City more like Chelsea Market, Jamestown just inked a deal with The Dougnut Plant, reports Crain's. The 10-year lease will give the doughnuttery 8,495 square feet, which will mostly be dedicated to production. Like Sarabeth’s and Amy’s bakeries in Chelsea Market, the kitchen will be glassed in so visitors can watch as the magic happens. There will also be a small kiosk to buy donuts fresh from the fryer. Other gustatory options in the building include L’Arte del Gelato and Food Box, which includes stands from Khao Man Ghai NY, Recafo, and The Kolache Co.
