Holy Hell: Does Danny Meyer Have Plans for 7 Bryant Park?

New liquor license applications suggest that the king of hospitality has something new in the works.

It looks like Mayor of New York Danny Meyer has a big new project up his sleeve at 7 Bryant Park. Grub Street reports that Union Square Hospitality has filed for not one but two liquor licenses at the new condo tower, one for the space that building plans have outlined as a high-end restaurant, and another for an additional bar. Details are scarce, and the Meyer camp declines to comment at the moment, which leaves us only to speculate. Now that the king of hospitality has conquered pizza, what will he dream up next? Could this be the next Union Square Cafe?
