Sel de Mer, the five year old seafood-centric bistro and neighborhood standby of East Williamsburg closed for good after service yesterday evening. The news shouldn't come as a huge surprise, at least to those who pay attention to real estate listings, since the space went up for sale back in June. An employee at the restaurant tells Eater that much of the staff will be moving over to work at Miller's Tavern, which is under the same ownership. Now word yet on what will replace Sel de Mer.
