Several of the food spots in Penn Station that make the place feel like a bad mall food court are slated to be replaced in the next few months. But don't expect change to come too quickly. A representative from Amtrak says that better food will likely come over several years. "There's an interest in the riding public in a slightly higher-brand opportunity in the station…We will do what we can to accommodate that desire." [NYT]
