Diehard iPhone fans who waited outside of Apple stores in New York and Chicago for hours were offered sustenance in the form of apple slices and pies from McDonald's to keep them going through the night. It's possible that the move was just a stunt but it may have something to do with the new Apple Pay, which allows iPhone users to pay at restaurants (including McDonald's) from their phones. [EN]
