Mission Chinese Food is now hiring staff for the new space, per a handwritten note in the window, which means we really could see the fall opening Danny Bowien has promised. In fact, word on the street is that the restaurant could make its return to the Lower East Side as early as late October or early November. Of course, these things are never certain, so stay tuned.
