Vinegar Hill House Dinners; Mondays at French Louie

VINEGAR HILL — Vinegar Hill House is hosting four nose to tail dinners at Hillside on this fall. The dinners are a collaboration between chef Mike Poiarkoff and the farms the restaurant works with regularly. The first dinner is tomorrow and its menu includes pork loin and shoulder served with sweet corn puree, spoonbread, callaloo, and blueberry jus. Tickets cost $60 plus tax. [Eaterwire]

WILLIAMSBURG — Smorgasburg's Saturday lineup now includes Little Lowcountry, which specializes classic Southern snack, boiled peanuts. [Eaterwire]

BOERUM HILL — Borrowing a tradition from its sister restaurant Buttermilk Channel, French Louie is now offering a special three course menu on Monday nights for $35. Options include steak frites, mussels, and profiteroles for dessert. [Eaterwire]

WHOLE FOODS — To combat its 35 percent drop in stock value, Whole Foods is testing out a loyalty program that gives regular shoppers discounts. The initiative is expected to go nationwide by the end of 2015. [~EN~]
