Right on schedule, Marta started serving breakfast this morning at 7 a.m. and it's looking good. Spicy eggs amatriciana come in a petite cast iron skillet with two slices of fresh bread. There are also cornetti, Rome's answer to the croissant, various bruschette, a wood-fired semolina pancake with walnuts, peach compote, and maple, and sizable heap of bacon as a side.
