The building that most recently housed the short-lived Archie & Sons, on the corner of St. Marks and Third Avenue, has just gotten a fresh coat of tiger-striped paint. The flashy new look signals the imminent arrival of Korilla BBQ's, and may remind some of the (simpler) days when the words "falafel" and "shawarma" plastered the building's facade. The landlord tells Bedford + Bowery he's glad it will now be called the "Korilla building" instead of the "falafel building." [EVG; B+B]
