Status: Soft Open
Charlie Palmer's fall restaurant rollout continues with an outpost of Charlie Palmer Steak in the old Rothman's Steakhouse space. The restaurant, which is currently in soft opening mode until September 15, is just down the street from Palmer's new bar Crimson & Rye and looks to have a similarly sleek Midtown corporate vibe.
The menu: This is your classic steakhouse fare, with 11 steak and chop options including wagyu and kobe. There's also the obligatory surf and turf (lobster tail, filet mignon), a peppered seared tuna steak, and a raw bar.
Tables are wide open on OpenTable and the restaurant is offering a 15% discount all week during this soft opening period. Stay tuned for photos.
