Menu items include Jerusalem mixed grill with sweetbreads, chicken livers, hearts, and caramelized onions, as well as the city's take on a bagel that is dipped into za'atar. CHELSEA — George Mendes is kicking off his chef's counter dinner series at Aldea next Monday, serving a nine-course off-menu dinner inspired by his Iberian heritage.
