The unidentified bistro that started hanging up non-specific signage in the shuttered Apartment 13 space on Avenue C a couple of weeks ago has opened, and it's a familiar face. Le Jardin Bistro, which operate on Cleveland Place for 15 years and closed in 2010 has taken up residency serving a rather extensive menu of bistro classics like cassoulet, escargots, and salade Lyonnaise. The beloved backyard of the original has been now lives on as a terraced patio. [NYT, Earlier]
