Brooklyn Kitchen Shutters its Gotham West Outpost

The Gotham West Market outpost of Williamsburg's kitchen supply mecca the Brooklyn Kitchen closed for good over the weekend. No word on why — a note on the shop's website says simply that its last day was Sunday. This is the second business in the eight month-old food hall to shutter, following the closure of Saltie offshoot Little Chef back in April. Little Chef was quickly replaced by Akhtar Nawab's Choza Taqueria, but no word yet on what will take Brooklyn Kitchen's place. In the meantime, the original Brooklyn Kitchen is going strong in its home borough.
