2010_11_arthurs.jpgThe building that houses Arthur's Tavern, one of the last standing great old jazz clubs of the Village, is on the market for $6.25 million. Since opening in 1937, the bar has hosted legendary musicians like Charlie Parker and Roy Hargrove. Jeremiah's Vanishing New York mourns the news, writing: "It's truly one of the few spots left in the Village that still feels like the Village--and still feels like New York." [JVNY]
