Not much has changed since Emiliano Coppa and Anna Klinger opened Park Slope's Al di Là in 1998 and that's how both the owners and regulars like it. A number of menu items including the Swiss chard and ricotta malfatti, and braised rabbit on top of polenta, have been mainstays since the beginning. Charlotte Druckman stops by on a Sunday night to eat and to chat with the owners: "We didn't open to make a bang...We opened to have our own place and a better life," says Coppa. [NYT]
