Charlie Palmer's doubling down on midtown, where he has no less than four projects in the works. They include a string of dining rooms in the Knickerbocker Hotel, a restaurant in the iconic Lipstick Building and a steakhouse in the old Rothman's space on 54th street. The latter project will feature the "best quality meats, more creativity, more seasonality, great wines and craft cocktails;" which, quite frankly, sounds like every new steakhouse venture. [NYT]
