Katz's Deli just got the building permits to start fixing up its basement, which was destroyed by that massive water main break earlier this summer. Everything from the sewage lines to the refrigerators and freezers is getting replaced, but no need to fear for the pastrami. Owner Jake Dell promises to keep the restaurant open the entire time.
