Poor TGI Friday's is having a rough couple of months. First someone stole 200 pounds of sirloin from a Friday's freezer. Then, last week, word dropped that the Union Square location would close because, as operator Dennis Riese puts it: "Union Square is so hot down there these days." Now a tipster sends word that the East 42nd Street outpost has shuttered. According to Grub Street, all its knick knacks were auctioned off last weekend.
