UNION SQUARE — This year's Harvest in the Square will take place on September 18. Chefs from All'onda, Union Square Cafe, Laut and more than 35 other neighborhood restaurants will cook for the event, which benefits the park. Tickets are $125. The code 10DAUG gives guests a 10% discount through August. [EaterWire]
CLINTON HILL — Hit pizza spot Emily is now taking (some) reservations. Tables for parties of 6 or 8 can be booked up to 30 days in advance by emailing pizzalovesemily@gmail.com. A credit card is required to hold the spot. [EaterWire]
CHANG WIRE — In honor of Momofuku Noodle Bar's 10 year anniversary, Vanity Fair asked David Chang to create a meal his 10-year-old self would want to eat. The result: blue crabs cooked with Miller Lite and Old Bay seasoning, served with cherry Coke. "It was almost more delicious just to lick your fingers than to eat the crab," recalls Chang. ATLANTIC CITY — The bankrupt Revel Casino in Atlantic City will close no later than September 10, taking down many restaurants and a couple splashy New York imports when it does. Marc Forgione will lose an outpost of American Cut, and Alain Allegretti will lose Azure. Jose Garces's Amada outpost is also a goner, but at least he's opening a new one at Brookfield Place soon.
