Momofuku Throwback Menu; Sushi Ko at BBQ Blowout

EAST VILLAGE — Momofuku's anniversary throwback menu has finally dropped. Dishes picked by Noodle Bar alumni chefs include pig tails served with Asian pear and braised tripe with bacon. The special menu, including the limited edition peaches n' cream cookie from Milk Bar, will be available August 18 to 24. [First We Feast]

PORTLAND IN NYC — Oregonian critic Michael Russell comes to New York for friends and a steak at Peter Luger. While in town he admires the food at The Breslin and David Chang's massive influence. But he's not as impressed with The NoMad Bar: "The atmosphere was electric, the service was top-notch, but while the drinks were good, they weren't better than what you'll find at a dozen Portland cocktail bars." WILLIAMSBURG — The Snacky Tunes guys are hosting their last BBQ Blowout of the year tomorrow from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Good Co.. New York Sushi Ko will be manning a grill, turning out Japanese treats and Danish DJ YOUSS will oversee the music. Tickets are $10. [EaterWire]
