The deal that was set to see John's of 12th Street sold to Brett Rasinski, a partner in The Beatrice Inn, has been quietly taken off the table. The iconic restaurant is currently "not on the market" owner Nick Sitnycky tells Eater, and any future deal would require that the decor and menu remain unchanged and the staff "looked after." The restaurant has been owned by Sitnycky since 1972, but he planned to sell it when his business partner Mike Albert died last year. [EaterWire]
