Mozzarella-loving New Yorkers will have to wait a bit longer for the twice-weekly Italian-imported mozz at soon-to-open Obicá in the Flatiron. The mozzarella bar's friends and family dinner got rained on last night after smoke in the restaurant set off the sprinkler system, flooding the place. During the exodus, chef Enzo Neri suffered "minor injuries," while one diner (and presumably several balls of pricey mozzarella) was soaked. The restaurant was planning to open Thursday, but a representative tells Eater that it will now need an extra week to dry off.
