The Breslin's Taking Reservations; Black Seed Delivery

FLATIRON — The Breslin (which Ryan Sutton reviewed today) is now offering a limited number of reservations for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. The restaurant, along with The John Dory Oyster Bar, is on OpenTable but walk-ins are still "strongly encouraged." [EaterWire]

DELIVERY — Black Seed will begin delivering their Montreal-New York hybrid bagels through Caviar. Delivery starts tomorrow at 10 a.m. Use the promotion code "bagel" for free delivery tomorrow. [EaterWire]

LOWER EAST SIDE — Contra is now taking reservations online through Seat Me. The restaurant is also hosting Nordic chef Jonathan Tam of Copenhagen's Relae this week for a collaborative $70 dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. [EaterWire]

VIDEO INTERLUDE — New Yorkers (and tourists) are asked to define pastry terms like fondant, soufflé and ganache. One man thinks the latter was a "measurement for flour back in the 1500s." Dominique Ansel helps them out with the right answers. [~EN~]
