A mystery applicant is interested in the old Odessa Café space on Avenue A. The space has been dark since beloved Ukrainian spot shuttered last summer. Four businesses have toyed with taking over the space in the past year (most recently Ravi DeRossi was contemplating a Nashville hot chicken joint), but so far nothing's stuck. [EV Grieve]
