Former Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz is going to be working the maître d' shift at Brooklyn Heights Italian spot Noodle Pudding tomorrow night. The stunt is part of his new gig promoting outer borough tourism for NYC & Company (the city's official marketing organization). That means that besides the usual host tasks of seating diners and pouring wine, Mr. Markowitz will also be regaling guests on NYC tourist attractions, and the benefits of a staycation. He'll only work at Noodle Pudding from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., but the Post reports he has some other maitre d' stints planned in the Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.
