M. Wells Steakhouse's New Terrace; Rub-a-Grub Cancelled

LONG ISLAND CITY — The M. Wells Steakhouse team just opened an outdoor terrace that has a wood-burning oven built by co-owner Hugue Dufour. The menu will change nightly, but expect items like tomato tarts, roasted open-face lobsters, and wild boar ribs. [EaterWire; Grub Street]

CHELSEA — The second location of Italian gelateria Amorino opened this week with its signature "flower petal" cones of gelato and focaccina — a brioche stuffed with gelato. On Wednesday the shop will host a free "gelato happy hour" from 4 to 7 p.m. [EaterWire]
