Looks like Blue Ribbon Sushi will finally open its counter in Battery Park City's hottest new food hall, Hudson Eats tomorrow. This outpost will have a sushi bar, but otherwise be more casual than the SoHo original. Like Mighty Quinn's, Num Pang, Umami Burger, and its many other neighboring vendors, it will focus mostly on counter service and takeout. No word on the exact menu, but presumably the options will include rolls, sushi, sashimi, and sides similar to those at Blue Ribbon Sushi proper. Now the only vendor still to open at Hudson Eats is Northern Tiger, a Chinese spot from Erika Chou and Doron Wong of Yunnan Kitchen. And in 2015, full-service outposts of Parm and Jose Garces' Amada will also open at Brookfield Place, as well as the massive French restaurant/market Le District and several more still-unnamed restaurants.
