German chef Markus Barthel has dropped his strange "tongue" lawsuit against Gordon Ramsay. Barthel was seeking an unspecified amount in damages for "serious, severe and permanent injuries in his mouth, including... deep cuts in his tongue" caused by a piece of sharp plastic or ceramic he found in his burger at Ramsay's restaurant in The London NYC. Ramsay's lawyers pointed out that the celebrity chef hasn't been involved in the restaurant's operation in five years, even though it bears his name. [NYDN, Contact Music]
