1) Lobster Boil

What: Hearth is starting up a series of Sunday lobster boils. The three course meal includes a watermelon and tomato salad, smoked blue fish pate, and a big lobster pot with corn on the cob, clams, potatoes and chorizo with peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream for dessert. 2) Taste of Jewish Culture
When: Tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Madison Avenue between 47th and 48th Street
What: Celebrate the history and the bounty of Jewish cuisine at this event. Restaurants that are participating include Mile End Deli, Shelsky's, The Gefilteria, Taim, and many more. Along with the food, expect a lecture from knish expert Laura Silver as welll as some thematically appropriate Yiddish swing music.
3) Bacon and Beer Classic
When: Today, starting at noon
Where: Citi Field
What: Bacon and Beer Classic inside a baseball stadium, what more is there to say? The food comes from a long list of places including Robicelli's Bakery, Delicatessen and the Brindle Room. Featured breweries include Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Victory. Ticket prices vary, starting at $39.
4) Ice Cream Takedown
When: Tomorrow, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: The Bell House
What: Of all the cooking competition events going on this one seems the best suited to summer: ice cream. Taste samples from local favorites such as Hay Rosie, Luca Bosca, and Dolce Gelateria. Tickets cost $20.
5) Summer Luau
When: Today, starting at 11 a.m.
What: This luau/dance party has got it all: surf rock, piña colada jello shots and plenty of roasted pork. It will cost you $20 to attend or $40 to partake of the food and drinks.
