Party Like It's 1954

5584981263_741a21e5da_o.jpgAs has long been promised, starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Veselka will roll back its prices to what they were when they opened in 1954, for a grand total of 54 minutes. That means egg creams cost only 25 cents, borscht 60 cents. Pierogies will go for $1.50, and sweet cheese blintzes are only a $1. For those who can't get in the door this time, Veselka's promises there will be more meals like this to come. [GS, Twitter]
