Excelsior, a well-loved Park Slope gay bar, will close next month after 15 years in business. A bartender tells the Daily News that the building that houses the bar has been sold, and the new owner will not renew the lease. Owners Mark Nayden and Richard Kennedy say they hope to reopen the bar, which regulars love for its quiet, friendly scene, somewhere else in the neighborhood. And before the bar shutters, the duo will hold their wedding there.
