Tijuana Picnic, the Mexican/Asian spot from Acme team members Jean-Marc Houmard, Jon Neidich, and Hui Chi Lee looks close to opening in the old Laugh Lounge space on Essex Street. The project was slated to open this summer, but pictures from Bowery Boogie show that a late summer or early fall debut is more likely. [BB]
