Laurent Tourondel's LT Bar & Grill is Temporarily Closed

Laurent Tourondel's LT Bar & Grill, formerly known as LT Burger, is temporarily closed. A sign on the door and a message on the Midtown restaurant's answering machine say as much, but there's no word on the reason for the closure, or how long it will last. The restaurant opened two years ago in a space that once housed a bank, and before that Nikola Tesla's laboratory. It underwent a revamp earlier this year to offer a somewhat more upscale menu of sushi and steak frites. The response the the original was luke warm, and judging by Yelp reviews the revamp was not much of an improvement, but only time will tell whether the Bar & Grill is a goner.
