Seamus Mullen to Open El Colmado Butchery in MePa

Tertulia's Seamus Mullen plans to open a butcher shop/tapas bar called El Colmado Butchery in the Meatpacking District. El Colmado, of course, is the name of the chef's tapas bar at Gotham West Market, so presumably the menu here will be similar to the selection of small plates like prawns a la plancha, lamb meatballs, and ham croquettes served there. The butchery will also sell food to go, and the Times reports that it's slated to open in September. Meanwhile, Mullen also has restaurants in the works in a new Brooklyn condo, and at the Mondrian Hotel in London.
