Here's a look around the newly revamped Paulaner, which reopened last week after industry pros Wolfgang Ban and Markus Tschuschnig took it over and gave the beer hall a thorough makeover. The big vats for brewing beer onsite are still there, but now there's more wood and fewer small tables. In their place: long communal tables and round wooden banquettes. The menu, now in the hands of Cafe Sabarsky chef Daniel Kill, has also changed. It still leans German, of course, but now includes housemade charcuterie, and large format platters of things like crispy pork knuckles. Take a look around. Paulaner
